It was a special event because the primary videographer was not behind the camera but in front of it. John edited the footage and presented the video to his wife as a first anniversary gift. It was surprising how many of the details had already faded from our memories or we had been to busy to notice. The video revealed some surprises as well – the smitten look on the bride’s face, a silently mouthed “I love you” during the ceremony, and the wowed look on the faces of bride and groom after a post-ceremony kiss. Our four children have loved to see how our family began. We are grateful to be able to show how much we love each other and what real love looks like in the beginning. These are gifts that photos can’t capture and memories can’t show. This video becomes more important to our family with each passing year.
